Refund Policy

Our commitment to fair and transparent refunds.

Effective date: 1 June 2026 Last updated: 25 May 2026 Version 1.0
Short version: Payments on Younalyse are processed by Paddle as Merchant of Record. EU/EEA consumers have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for new subscriptions. Outside that window, refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis. We aim to be fair — if something went wrong on our side, we'll make it right.

1. Payments Processed by Paddle

All payments on Younalyse are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), acting as Merchant of Record. This means that when you purchase a subscription or add-on, your contract for payment is with Paddle, and Paddle handles all billing, receipts, and refund processing.

Paddle's own Refund Policy and Buyer Terms apply alongside this policy and are available at paddle.com/legal/refund-policy.

For payment-related queries (failed charges, duplicate charges, receipt issues), you may also contact Paddle directly via paddle.com.

2. Right of Withdrawal (EU/EEA Consumers)

If you are a consumer residing in the European Economic Area, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a new subscription contract within 14 days of purchase, without giving any reason.

Important — digital content exception: If you actively use the Service (run an analysis, access results, export data) within the 14-day withdrawal period, you expressly request immediate performance of the contract and acknowledge that your right of withdrawal is lost upon such use. This is consistent with Article 16(m) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights.

To exercise your right of withdrawal before using the Service:

  1. Email support@younalyse.com with the subject line "Withdrawal request"
  2. Include your account email address and the date of purchase
  3. We will process your withdrawal and initiate a full refund within 14 days

The right of withdrawal applies to the initial subscription purchase. It does not apply to subscription renewals.

3. Subscription Refunds

3.1 Standard policy

Subscriptions are billed in advance for the billing period (monthly or annual). We do not provide prorated refunds for the unused portion of a billing period if you cancel mid-cycle.

Upon cancellation, your subscription remains active until the end of the current paid period, after which it will not renew.

3.2 Annual subscriptions

If you subscribed to an annual plan and wish to cancel within the first 30 days, you may request a refund for the unused portion of the subscription (prorated from day 31 onwards). After 30 days, annual subscriptions are non-refundable.

3.3 Service outages

If Younalyse experiences a significant, sustained outage (more than 72 consecutive hours) during a billing period, we will offer an account credit for the affected period. We will contact impacted users proactively.

4. Add-Ons and Top-Ups

One-time add-on purchases (extra AI runs, keyword search top-ups) are non-refundable once the corresponding feature has been activated and the quota added to your account. This applies regardless of whether the quota has been used.

If you purchased an add-on by mistake before it was activated, contact us within 24 hours and we will issue a refund.

5. Discretionary Refunds

Outside the situations described above, we consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis. We are more likely to approve a refund if:

To request a discretionary refund, email support@younalyse.com with your account email, the charge date, amount, and a brief description of the issue.

6. How Refunds Are Processed

Approved refunds are processed by Paddle and returned to the original payment method. Processing time depends on your card issuer but is typically 5–10 business days.

Refunds are issued in the same currency as the original charge.
